About us: A Christian worship night where the sole aim is to worship God with no agenda other than to move deeper into His presence, and give Him all the glory.
We first felt God speak to us about putting on a worship night in early 2017. Having spent some time visiting local churches in Essex and seeing people’s hunger for more of God, we felt prompted to host a worship night. We reached out to a core group of people that we felt had an anointing in worship, ministry and prophecy to come on board in leading these nights and their replies confirmed to us that God was at work.
At the first WU night at James Hornsby in Laindon on 2nd December 2017, we were hoping for people to show up, but we were also prepared for it to be just the 12 of us involved in the worship and core team – regardless, we knew that worshipping Almighty God was not dependent on numbers and that we would worship our hearts out either way, because He is worthy of everything we have, whether we are in a crowd of 1000 or 1. We were therefore so blessed that people we didn’t know, along with some familiar faces, showed up to join us. Peoples’ responses were so encouraging, and confirmed to us that we had definitely heard correctly from Father God about stepping out and putting on these nights.
Now, over 6 years later with several WU nights held throughout Essex, we are overwhelmed by the work that God has begun and how He turns up and touches people (we’ve heard testimonies of healing, breakthrough and being born again – Amen!!) We are so thankful that He has allowed us to partner with Him in leading these events, and are also thankful to everyone who turns up, with a heart and passion to see Father God be lifted high in worship.
